Can I just say…
I will preface by saying I am a film minor and an avid movie buff.
I read a blog over on CNN’s website about the new Batman movie. I will be seeing the new Batman movie in t-minus 4.5 hours. The blog entry had a very good topic about bringing kids to the movie theater (read it here).
Can I just say there is nothing more annoying than people being disruptive during a movie. DO NOT bring kids under the age of 8 to a movie that doesn’t involve Pixar or Hannah Montana. Period. I am not being insensitive, I just don’t think there is any reason or redeeming factor for kids to see all of that stuff or to disturb people who have payed $10+ to be there.
I will say that I realize it is not always kids who are being disruptive. You have “that guy” or “that girl” who think that they are watching a movie in their living room and can talk through the whole movie.
I can’t believe I just ranted about that. Actually, yes I can.
Any opinions out there?
