A Rush of Blood to the Head
Higher Education?
There are times that I question why I am in college. Don’t get me wrong, I will finish school and I know that it is something that shoud be done for the telecommunication field that I going into.
I say this because through all of my classes that I have taken in college, only one has felt like it is really relevant to my future. That class is my Telecommunication Production class. Today in my telecommunication class we learned the difference between an XLR (microphone) and 1/4″ (instrument/speaker) cable. Both are audio cables. For those of you who don’t know, my job (and several of the jobs I’ve had) is to run sound…Really? I felt like walking out.
Then, I went to my next class (Intro to Telecom) and talked about law. Wait, I thought I already had a law class that I loathe. Oh that’s right, I do, and we talked about the same thing.
I can’t wait to graduate.
It’s Everywhere!
On a completely different note, I have spent the last hour on this website called Improv Everywhere. I think it is brilliant! Basically some guy recruits a ton of volunteers to do a massive prank to unsuspecting people. When I say massive, I mean it can get up in the hundreds. These people have no fear. I might not be able to do some of that stuff. Then again, maybe I should start an Atlanta chapter…
Here’s a little taste.
Beautiful.
